Teaching should be
the easiest thing to do in the world if the students are not all annoying.
So recently i’m doing a job which has a long story filled with sighs. Have been
a teacher for more or less three years or i guess more teaches me many
things. I have met a lot of people with different backgrounds. Been doing this
career since i was still a university student. i remember it was the end of the
year of 2008. I was in despair about finishing my theshitis when there
was a not good offer from one of my best friends to be an assistant
teacher. Without further ado, i took that offer -the offer which until now i
still am not really sure about it, the offer which i think i’m not really good
at-
Until now, i still
keep wondering why i choose this career. It is like better than nothing, i keep
telling it to myself just to make justification. For my first two years maybe
it wasn’t bothering me so much, as i just taught children. If i just think
about money maybe i would give up the job because the pay was way too far from
good. i found it was interesting teaching kids. Felt like i came into their world.
A world with full of dream, a world where there is nothing to be afraid of.
Dearie, how i miss being a kid! And the most important thing i have found many
new friends who are now become my best friends. I mean, it was amazing that i
could stand over two years working in the same place considering that i’m kind
of a person who gets bored easily. Thanks to my superb friends! In crazy, bad and
good times, they were (are) always there even until i delivered my theshitis.
Everything was fine until i came to think that i should get a true job. it
doesn’t mean that i’m included into the so-money-oriented-person but what i’m
trying to say is i need to find what shoud be my right. Actually money is not
the most important thing for me in this world, but still it is important. So
after several consideration, i came to the conclusion that i had to give up
working there. I told my former boss, she is nice but is a bit horror and
unfair, that i had an offer to work in a different career and i should move
out of town. It was the end of February of 2011 and i started to be completely
a part time unemployee and a full time dreamer hahahahaha.
So after a month
enjoying me-time i got a call for an interview. It was a quiet afternoon –of
course quiet because i was sleeping at that time - in the end of March of 2011.
Felt bored to death, i took the job. it was April 1st when i started to work.
The date when we can feel free to lie. Yeah! It (was) is April Mop!! The day
when i felt the thing what i call The Art of Being A Lost Child. A Lost
Child? Am i trying to make it overwhelm? No, because if i am, i will
make it The Art of Being A Lost Princess! *flood of critism* #peacelover
They called it a
training period on a bloody boring Friday. So that was the first time i
felt like i was an alien who came from nowhere. the boss let me play
take a look into the material in a computer and there i was. ABANDONED. i mean
like ok, it is too much if i said i was abandoned but the fact was i just got
myself tried to be calm. But actually it was really awkward. Seeing my
colleagues for the first time. OMG, it was so far from my expectation, i
thought i would find a person who was at least at the same age with me. Well,
OK, i found one at least. Younger though. But she is nice. Why? Because she was
the first person who warmly welcomed me and asked me to have lunch together. In
the very short time i thought that i had to be friends with her.
Times flied. Day
by day, i felt bored to death! There was something relieved me because i had my
best friend work at the same office with me. But it didn’t last for a long
time, she was there less than even a month! She was so lucky that she got
released from there because she had a great offer from one of the prestige
companies? so i was alone again.
Everything goes more
not right after that. I work but always half-heartedly. I don’t care anymore.
Well, eventhough i have my best friends with me but still i don’t really like
my job! so everyday hurts me because i have to face the truth that i must work.
Yeah, i live to work!
For everyone who
devotes so much into this career, i can’t say anything but 4 thumbs up for YOU!
Standing Ovation :)
It’s really not an
easy thing to do but it is really worth to try :)
